EduEducator provides an AI-assisted grading and feedback platform that allows educators to manage assignments, review student work, and receive AI-generated grading suggestions. The platform may integrate with third-party services such as Google Classroom and Google Drive for assignment management and file access.
By creating an account or using EduEducator, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
EduEducator is intended for use by educators, students, and school administrators. You must be 13 years or older to use the service. Students under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your password with others. You are responsible for any activity on your account. You agree to use EduEducator only for lawful educational purposes and to comply with applicable privacy and education laws, including FERPA and COPPA where relevant.
Users may not upload inappropriate content, misuse student data, or use the platform for any unlawful purposes. AI-generated grades and feedback are intended as supplemental guidance and do not replace human judgment. Misuse of AI outputs, including plagiarism or misrepresentation of student work, is prohibited. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected and used. We aim to comply with FERPA and COPPA for student-related data.
All content, code, and AI outputs from EduEducator are owned by us or licensed appropriately. You may not redistribute or sell any part of the platform without permission.
When used by a school, district, or teacher for educational purposes, EduEducator acts as a “school official” with a legitimate educational interest under FERPA and processes student education records solely for the purpose of providing the Services as directed by the LEA/School. Student records remain the property of and under the control of the LEA/School. We will not disclose student education records except as authorized by the LEA/School or required by law, and we will implement role-based access controls and other safeguards to protect such data.
Children under 13 may use the Services only as part of a school-directed experience where the LEA/School has authorized use on behalf of parents, or where we have obtained verifiable parental consent. We collect only information reasonably necessary for the educational purpose and do not use children’s data for advertising. Parents may request review or deletion of their child’s information by contacting the school or us as described in the Privacy Policy.
We retain student records only as long as necessary to provide the Services or as directed by the LEA/School. Upon receipt of a verified request from an authorized school official, teacher, or (for direct-to-consumer accounts) a parent or eligible student, we will delete personal information within 30 days and purge backups within 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
When you connect Google Classroom or Drive, we request only the minimum scopes needed to enable assignment sync, roster association, and file access as directed by you. We may store limited metadata (e.g., course IDs, assignment IDs, roster identifiers, file references) to provide the integration. You may disconnect at any time, which will revoke tokens and end further data access. Our use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
We may collect product analytics (such as feature usage and performance metrics) to operate and improve the Services. Where feasible, analytics are aggregated or de-identified. We do not sell data, and we do not use or permit third parties to use student data for targeted advertising or to create profiles for non-educational purposes. Schools may request additional analytics controls or opt-outs.
EduEducator provides educational assistance and grading tools. We are not responsible for any grading errors, content interpretation, or consequences of automated analysis. Use the service as a supplementary aid only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduEducator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
In accordance with California law, all student records provided to or created within EduEducator are the property of and under the control of the school or school district (Local Educational Agency). We do not use student data to engage in targeted advertising, nor do we sell or trade student data for commercial gain. Any data mining or profiling is strictly limited to the necessary educational purposes of the platform.
EduEducator integrates with third-party services such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, and Vertex AI. Your use of these features is subject to the respective providers’ terms and policies. We do not control or assume responsibility for their content or data handling practices.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls aligned to user roles. In the event of unauthorized access to student education records, we will notify the affected LEA/School without unreasonable delay and consistent with applicable law.
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the new terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in unauthorized access. Upon termination, access to your account and associated data may be revoked in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
